Hi, I’m Fay Bartlett, the owner of Finance & You (F&Y), an accountancy practice designed to make finance and accounting more accessible and comprehensible for entrepreneurs. I’m a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), holding their prestigious ACA qualification as a chartered accountant. I have over eight years of expansive experience spanning both in practice and industry.

I started my career journey straight out of school, embracing an apprenticeship that paved the way into the world of accountancy at one of the top 10 international accountancy firms. I am a staunch advocate for apprenticeship schemes, having begun my qualification with Level 4 AAT before progressing onto the challenging yet rewarding ACA qualification. This unique path instilled in me a deep understanding of the diverse routes to professional success.

Feeling somewhat out of place in the traditional accountancy mould, I was driven by a desire to innovate within the industry. My ambition led to the creation of F&Y, a practice that stands as a beacon for change, offering a fresh, approachable perspective on financial management for business owners. I aim to disrupt conventional accountancy, prioritising clarity, simplicity, and accessibility.

I pride myself on being trustworthy, friendly, and encouraging. These qualities, combined with my professional acumen, make me not just an accountant but a supportive guide for clients.
